I spent nearly a decade working inside some of the world's best-run companies — MongoDB, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Pfizer. In each one, I watched the same thing happen.
Smart, capable teams spending hours every week on tasks that had no business taking that long. Reports that required the same structure every time. Emails that followed the same format. Research that followed the same process. Repetitive, predictable, soul-sapping work.
